The Value of Referrals and how to get them

Hi Happy Clickers....

I joined TTG on 13/06/08 and from the start I saw they mean business and if you have followed there growth you all know that I am right. There is no where in the PTC industry where you will get the same service, same commitment and the same growth than TTG. This is the only reason I spend so much of my free time to help where I can.

I want to talk about referrals and the importance of referrals in this post, I don't think we understand how important it is for our selves to keep on looking for and getting new referrals to sign up using your unique referral link.

This is what my own referrals mean to me. They all clicked my referral link that I posted on forums, my web page and emailed to friends. I have 16 of my oven out a total of 641 and I love them....

Ref 2: 487 clicks
Ref 3: 73 clicks
Ref 4: 882 clicks
Ref 5: 812 clicks
Ref 6: 4 clicks
Ref 7: 1746 clicks
Ref 8: 71 clicks
Ref 9: 413 clicks
Ref 10:372 clicks
Ref 11: 700 clicks
Ref 12: 34 clicks
Ref 13: 273 clicks
Ref 14: 0 clicks
Ref 15: 1 clicks
Ref 16: 2 clicks
Ref 17: 0 clicks
Ref 18: 35 clicks

The average referral cost $1.29 if you buy from TTG so the value of my 16 referrals is $20.64 plus a total of 5085 clicks from my referrals, if I'm right that is about $26($26+$20.64=$46.64) they made me the past month. that is without me clicking one add and they will keep on making that for me every month. If I can put a little effort into it and get 30 more next month I will be making close to $100 without me doing anything every month. They make me money while I'm sleeping.....

Well if you want to know how to get referral we can use this thread to discuss only that topic. Nothing else only ways to get your own referrals, anything else will be deleted.

Ok, the first thing you need to do is join a few Forums that allow you to post your referral link in your signature. After joining just add your TTG referral link and what ever else, like your web page link to your signature. It is very easy to do and if you need any help just ask by replying to the post or sending me a PM.

This is a sample of the signature I use to advertise the TTG banner add:

[size=14pt]Would you like a to see your banner on the main site of TAKE THE GLOBE, just send me a PM first come first served[/size]

After you fixed your signature all you have to do is create a few post or reply to a few. One that has always worked for me is posting my proof of payment on other Forums, you always get a good reply from that.

Create your own Web Page:

Well at the moment I have more than enough referrals and I am doing sales for TTG advertising and banner adds. Instead of posting my referral link in my signature on other forums, I have a link to the TTG banner page or add page. Even if I post my proof of payment. As it is just as important for me to get advertisers as referral. I don't say anybody must do this, no please don't. But I still find referral that use my link and they find my link on my web page.

On all the forums you can put your web page URL in your profile and if you post it is like free advertising, most forums allow you to put it in your signature same as your referral link.

If you have little experience of creating or publishing a web page like me who only has the basic HTML and other self thought skills you will still find easy and basic ways to create a web page. The nice part is you can do it all free.

Good place to start is:

Most have web pages ready, you only have to name and add a little description to, like referral links, pictures, video, music or what ever you feel like.

Remember, always try and give your own honest personal experience and don't just copy and paste other peoples work. People tend to quickly see if what you say is real or just a load of bull, try and stay away from to much sales pitch.

I do those things and one other thing as well...which is traffic exchanges. I use mainly trafficswarm and clickthru, but am building credits at trafficera, too. I have a list of exchanges that I am building up credits on, but trafficera will be the next one I start running. I am trying different ones to see where I get the best results from. I advertise this site on it's own and also on my site, which is also advertised in those places. So it gets double exposure, since it's the very first one on my own site, it always gets seen.

I have gotten quite a few referrals from traffic exchanges for all my sites put together. But the added benefit is I've seen so many sites that have helped me and/or taught me so much along the way.

do you know how to create a nice banner I mean if you know where I can get a tool or software for that.I have tried with Power Point but I wonder if there is something better and more simple.
I can say that NoirAngelique's banner is quiet pretty I would do something nice like hers.
And Seanmac thanks for your guide about web pages now I decided to create one with my top sites and will see you know I am just a beginner but I am still trying something new.I am on a half way with page hope I will be ready soon.

Don't forget you can also purchase them in your members area if you're having a hard time gaining referrals on your own folks

Try design your banner by using photoshop or corel..

Regarding banners..I was just thinking...admin is it possible for TTG designer to make a few banners (for TTG)..the one we have is too fast and not very descriptive..thats my point of view though..

Yeah right, it'll be better if TTG can provide some more attractive banners with good descriptions
